And the clash is here again!

Ok.. so everyone has heard the news.. or have you?

"The meaning of Aqsa Parvez"; "... barbaric practice of Muslim "honour killings" is making its way from South Asia and the Middle East to Canada" {NATIONAL POST}

"Hijab teen's father appears in court" {THE SUN}

"Aqsa Parvez Killed by Devout Muslim Dad Muhammad Parvez" {BLOG}

..wait you haven't heard worse..

"The deadly face of Muslim extremism" {Guess whose back?? TAREK FATEH!}

WHY, is it always the media the first of all to JUMP soo fast to draw conclusions about an incident faster than the public themselves??

Sometimes I feel the media grabs their OWN "authentic" information from the public - how about that??

Ofcourse -

There has NOT been any confirmation from police concerning the cause of the incident, but wait the media has come up with CAUSES. For example, sadly enough, I am proud to say that I feel that some people who write for the NATIONAL POST are so IGNORANT about Islam than I have ever come across. Check this out...

There are authors in the NATIONAL POST - who acts as the EXPERTS to interpret this incident.. when they don't know jack about it!

If you read this article carefully, you will notice how the author wants to twist the thinking of the reader and confuse them. Usually the public would not read an article "critically" and analyze the parts carefully. If you notice, the author starts with talking about honor killings and how:
"...Aqsa Parvez, many fear, may represent something more: a sign that the loathsome and barbaric practice of Muslim "honour killings" is making its way from South Asia and the Middle East to Canada."
. Then, in the middle of the article they say:
"It is important to emphasize that nothing has been proven in regards to Ms. Parvez's death."

In the end of the article, AGAIN, they mention:
"And so when a young Muslim girl gets killed by her father, there is a natural tendency to see it as an indicator that Canadian Muslims are about to follow the radicalized path of militant, unassimilated co-religionists in Paris, London and Stockholm." - It's like OK CAN YOU MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY??

Little do THEY know that ISLAM PROHIBITS HONOR KILLINGS! The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him said): “Whoever has a daughter, and does not bury her alive or scold her, or prefer his male children to her, may God bring him into Paradise.”

Then there is this other newspaper, which I would not recommend anyone to read: THE SUN. In the headlines of their paper on WEDNESDAY I READ:
"Hijab teen's father appears in court" - Yo dude, since when did her name become "hijjab teen" - Since when were you given permission to come to conclusions about why this incident took place. For all we know, this could have happened because of a domestic issue!

Another person who I think needs to do his/her research properly is a blogger: "Aqsa Parvez Killed by Devout Muslim Dad Muhammad Parvez"- Hey dude, I think your sentence is quite "oxymoronish" - Let me tell you. How can you put "kill" and "devout Muslim" in one sentence?? If the "Muslim" was really "devout" why would they kill? Would a "devout" Christian kill an innocent person?? - You tell me!

Lastly, but the worst, we have our "Muslim" Broza TAREK FATEH - whom i say "May Allah guide him". Allah has given him the chance to be within media, but yet he talks rubbish!

"..was only wishing for a normal adolescence amid Canada's rich cultural mosaic." - HEY MR .. are you trying to say that if a girl wears a hijjab "amid Canada's rich cultural mosaic" - that WE AREN'T NORMAL?? Who are YOU to say whose normal and whose not??

" -- likely in the name of honour and Islam." Hey, I don't get you.. OUT OF EVERYONE and you being a Muslim, happen to make an accusation that the father did it "IN THE NAME OF ISLAM"??
LOOK, sometimes I really don't know if this dude thinks before he writes!

wait the worse is yet to come...

"The hijab in particular has become a thorny issue among Muslim families. It has been elevated as a sort of "sixth pillar of Islam" among militant sects." - IS HE trying to imply that those who wear the hijjab is from a "militant sect".. once again I THINK this dude needs to do more research on his OWN religion!

"the Montreal mosque that recently posted on its Web site a warning to the effect that if young girls took off their hijab, they could end up getting raped and having "illegitimate children." Other proffered risks included "Stresses, insecurity and suspicion in the minds of husbands" - I think this dude is over-exagerating this issue - it's sad how he doesn't understand the wisdom behind hijjab, yet he chooses to make our job harder by making more lies about Islam..

"Muslims need to stand up to this sort of emotional and religious blackmail by imams who spread the competing agendas of Saudi Arabia and Iran into Canada.".. wow, can you imagine this coming from a "Muslim" himself. (Here is another article I wrote concerning him. Click here)

Lastly, just in case this blog goes out in the "public" I totally denounce the actions of what Aqsa's father did. Once again, what he did was NOT from Islam. Her parents should have resorted to better educational methods to teach her and her siblings about Islam, from a young age. They should have considered her "environment" as a factor too.
You cannot try to nourish a "to be plant" (ie seed) by providing it with no water & no sunlight ( i.e environment) and expecting it to turn out to be the best of plants

The Problem with WESTERN MEDIA!!

http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=knl03AnUMA8

Robert Fisk is an amazing character. He has been covering the Middle East over 30 years. He is a UK Journalist, but resides in Lebanon. He is ONE OF THE FIRST WESTERN JOURNALIST, who I have come across who does not write the type of garbage you would find in typical Western or American media!! He is also a unique Journalist who actually experienced the trauma of what Iraqis, Palestinians, Afghans, and Lebanese go through everyday. In this short video, he gives us a sample of how corrupt the AMERICAN MEDIA is!! To listen to him speak at another conference, check out my "POSTED ITEMS" on facebook!.. He is quite an entertaining speaker and you will be totally amazed at how much "REAL" KNOWLEDGE he has about the MIDDLE EAST as opposed to what the MEDIA IS FEEDING US!! He is also not afraid to speak about how corrupt the U.S and Britain Governments are. Check it out

America strikes when trying to claim land on Canadian soil!

Ok so I haven't blogged in a while.. soo here it comes
I was looking through some news and this is what I came across: As usual we know America always tries to invade countries and claim the ownership of "possession" which is NOT THEIRS TO BEGIN WITH!

U.S. Claims Canada's Side Of Niagara Falls As Its Own In Tourism Video
Monday October 29, 2007
CityNews.ca Staff

It's the land of the free, the home of the brave, and apparently also home to something else: Niagara Falls.
A new U.S. tourism video displaying the sights and attractions in America includes a shot of something distinctly Canadian - Horseshoe Falls, the only one of Niagara's three waterfalls that's almost entirely on Canadian soil. The two other waterfalls, the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls which both lie on the U.S. side, weren't shown in the Disney-produced promotional video released last week by the U.S. departments of State and Homeland Security.
Among the other sights on Welcome: Portraits of America, the surf in Hawaii, the Grand Canyon and the fall colours in New England. The inclusion of the Canadian-based landmark will undoubtedly ruffle a few feathers on both sides of the border.
"This is not the United States, this is 100 percent Canada, shot from the Canadian side," Niagara Falls, N.Y. historian and author Paul Gromosiak said after watching the video. "This is an insult." He adds that a visitor to the U.S. wouldn't be able to get that sight of the Falls because it's shot from a vantage point in Ontario.
Though the boundary between New York and Ontario isn't marked with a line, Horseshoe has always been seen as the Canadian side of the Falls and American and Bridal Veil Falls the American side.
The video is to be played at airports in the U.S., starting at Dulles International outside Washington, D.C. and George Bush Intercontinental in Houston. It'll also be shown at U.S. embassies abroad.
State Department spokesperson Sean McCormack, when asked about the shot, described Niagara Falls as "a shared natural wonder, a gateway for both our countries and anyone looking at the video will understand how proud America is to share it with Canada."
Watch the video at
Discover America.

What an embarassment! One thing that needs to be understood.. When you try to steal something which is NOT YOURS.... YOU will always be caught.. sooner or later!!.

Oye! Mr Cookie Monster on a diet??

According to somewhat recent reports, our dear dear friend the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street is going on a diet! Yup, you heard me.. that means less cookies? But, what good will our Cookie Monster be without lots n lots of cookies to eat? Well according to our experts, "Almost one in three children in the US is now overweight, as opposed to one in 25 in the UK".. soo which means Cookie Monster "will cut down on his favourite food as part of an anti-obesity drive." Sooo if Mr Cookie Monster has to cut down on his cookies.. it means he needs to adjust his song from "C is for cookie, that's good enough for me".. to "A Cookie Is a Sometimes Food," From the new song, "Cookie Monster learns there are 'anytime' foods and 'sometimes' foods."... Sooo now what? Eh?

Ok soo if poor Mr Cookie Monster gets deprived of his cookies ... whats next? Oh I know! FOooOOOooD Makeover!!

Ahhhh yes .. our good little friends, vegetables and fruits! whom else?!

"So there it is. Cookie Monster still gobbles cookies, he's just a healthier version of his old self. His eyes are still googly, his fur is still scruffy and he's still messy. Even "Sesame Street" recognizes that we all need guilty pleasures.
" and I say.. soo WHY THE DIET??!

"Cookie Monster appears to be happy with the new "sometimes food" song, because at the end he warbles: "Is sometimes now?" "

'Little Mosque on the prairies' SHOULD BE BANNED!

Yup.. I've changed my mind!!.. I don't like that show anymore.. After watching the second episode or third?... there were some pretty NASTY STUFF . thus I have decided it ain't worth watchin anymore!....

My decision was also based on another issue..

Today a documentary called 'Me and the Mosque' aired on CBC. I have seen this documentary before and commented on it a while back, which can be found here to refresh your mind.

Even though I watched parts of this documentary for the second time, it drove the same type of anger and frustration as when I watched it the first time. But after watching this documentary, I went to the CBC site, THE LENS, to investigate who created this documentary .. and to my surprise: Zarqa Nawaz, who also created "Little Mosque on the Prairies", developed this documentary called "Me and the Mosque'

Basically in this documentary, she tried to convey to her viewers that the barrier or RATHER PARTITION, makes a woman feel oppressed, isolated, or in simpler terms feel LIKE TRASH!..

She went around to different mosques, showing the different types of partitions used. Some mosques had the most beautifully looking separators, which were elegantly designed, others had glass walls (SEE-THROUGH, DUH!!). In turn, NO MATTER what type of partition, she still felt they were not welcoming women and that women were in some sort of a jail.

She interviewed many people, but I personally felt this documentary was very much biased.. It basically was based on proving herself RIGHT and showing that there is a MAJOR MAJOR PROBLEM!! When she interviewed people from the opposite side, she did not give them a FAIR CHANCE OF SPEAKING themselves out.. At one point a muslim man was trying to explain how we cannot compare ourselves to the muslims/sahabahs of the past.. and she CLEARLY cut him TOTALLY OFF by repeating his statement as a question which seemed as a rhetorical question to the viewers...how fair was that??!!

She also showed parts of a real DEBATE on this topic. Even though this was called a 'debate' she didn't hesitate at ALL to cut her opponents loose!

There was also one woman and her mother who actually fought against the partition issue to the point of bringing in ISNA, so that they could peacefully be allowed to pray right behind the men.. Even though that was accomplished, her mother said she doesn't feel welcome into the mosque and she does not get enough 'ACKNOWLEDGEMENT' from the men.. My question to her is: how much ACKNOWLEDGEMENT do you want or rather 'need', when your main aim is to enter the Mosque to pray to Allah swt!!

This woman made this documentary sooo sooo emotional by adding soft music as effects. I felt she was portraying the wrong image to the non-muslims that women are TOTALLY OPPRESSED IN ISLAM - which is NOT TRUE.. This topic is known to be one of the MOST MISUNDERSTOOD topic by non-muslims.. Basically she isn't making our DAWAH any easier!!

OVERALL, I felt she over exaggerated the idea of partitions to the point where it made me feel SICK!. I personally think she totally MISSED the wisdom behind having these partitions...

Us muslims today, DO NOT have the same fear of Allah and Iman as the muslims of the past.

Keeping in mind the main aim of Muslims when they enter the masjid and based on the known facts about the nature of men and women, wouldn't you think the partitions would act as an aid for BOTH men and women in order so they can concentrate better in their salah?....

well I THOUGHT SO!!!

Heartless?

Ok so I was reading yet ANOTHER article which attached deep anger in my heart... Refer to the bottom of the article for my TWO CENTS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Muslim anger grows at Pope speech

The Pope's comments came on a visit to GermanyA statement from the Vatican has failed to quell criticism of Pope Benedict XVI from Muslim leaders, after he made a speech about the concept of holy war.
Speaking in Germany, the Pope quoted a 14th Century Christian emperor who said Muhammad had brought the world only "evil and inhuman" things.
Pakistan's parliament passed a resolution on Friday criticising the Pope for making "derogatory" comments.
The Vatican said the Pope had not intended to offend Muslims.
"It is clear that the Holy Father's intention is to cultivate a position of respect and dialogue towards other religions and cultures, and that clearly includes Islam," said chief Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi in a statement.
But in spite of the statement, the pontiff returned to Rome to face a barrage of criticism, reports the BBC's David Willey in Rome.
The head of the Muslim Brotherhood said the Pope's remarks "aroused the anger of the whole Islamic world".
Violence and faith
In his speech at Regensburg University, the German-born Pope explored the historical and philosophical differences between Islam and Christianity, and the relationship between violence and faith.

The remarks do not express correct understanding of Islam
Mohammed Mahdi AkefMuslim Brotherhood
Stressing that they were not his own words, he quoted Emperor Manual II Paleologos of the Byzantine Empire, the Orthodox Christian empire which had its capital in what is now the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The emperor's words were, he said: "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."
Benedict said "I quote" twice to stress the words were not his and added that violence was "incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul".
'Angry and hurt'
Pakistan's parliament passed a resolution demanding that the Pope retract his remarks "in the interest of harmony between religions".
"The derogatory remarks of the Pope about the philosophy of jihad and Prophet Mohammed have injured sentiments across the Muslim world and pose the danger of spreading acrimony among the religions," the AFP news agency quoted the resolution by the country's national assembly as saying.
Meanwhile, the "hostile" remarks drew a demand for an apology from a top religious official in Turkey - where the Pope is due in November on his first papal visit to a Muslim country.
Ali Bardakoglu recalled atrocities committed by Roman Catholic Crusaders against Orthodox Christians and Jews, as well as Muslims, in the Middle Ages.
In Egypt, Muslim Brotherhood head Mohammed Mahdi Akef said the Pope's words "do not express correct understanding of Islam and are merely wrong and distorted beliefs being repeated in the West".
In a statement, he was "astonished that such remarks come from someone who sits on top of the Catholic church which has its influence on the public opinion in the West".
Sheikh Youssef al-Qardawi, a prominent Muslim cleric in Qatar, rejected the Pope's comments, in remarks reported by Reuters.
"Muslims have the right to be angry and hurt by these comments from the highest cleric in Christianity," Mr Qardawi reportedly said.
"We ask the Pope to apologise to the Muslim nation for insulting its religion, its Prophet and its beliefs."
The 57-nation Organisation of the Islamic Conference also said it regretted the Pope's remarks, and news agencies reported a furious reaction on Islamic websites.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why is it that when an Islamic Scholar or IMAM makes a speech which contains words that of which are from an 'opinionated' sense or rather words which the non-muslim society does NOT want to hear, especially the government etc.. they are automatically defined as a CRIMINAL- even though they haven't commited any PHYSICAL CRIME or rather just dumped in jail without a FAIR trail.. THEN WE HAVE PEOPLE LIKE THIS POPE! who can say ANYTHING HE WISHES... even though it may be totally against another religion or rather even though it may offend the teachings of a certain religion - Everyone KEEPS quiet and let him speak WHATEVER HE WISHES.. He does not get PROPER CRITICISM from anyone but the OFFENDED - BUT THEN IF AN IMAM GOES AND SAYS ANYTHING OFFENSIVE TO ANY OTHER RELIGION .. boooooooom!.. there is HUGE BACKLASH!!

AND I QUOTE: " to cultivate a position of respect and dialogue ". This POPE..needs a comprehension lesson.. but ummm.. IF YOU WANTED TO CULTIVATE A POSITION OF RESPECT.. I think you made the WRONG MOVE, cuz you did the TOTAL OPPOSITE - horrible try though.. try again!

How far can Jealousy lead you.. hmm?

McDonald's wins "McCurry" war in Malaysia
Fri Sep 8, 2006 8:17am ET

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - U.S. burger chain McDonald's Corp has won a five-year legal battle against a tiny Malaysian eatery called "McCurry," persuading a judge that passers-by might confuse it with the fast-food giant.
The 24-hour open-air restaurant serves spicy fish-head curries, tandoori chicken and other Indian delicacies on a street corner in the capital, under a large "McCurry" sign.
"The defendant's use of the word McCurry and employing signage featuring colors distinctive of the plaintiff's was indulging in acts that could rise to confusion and deception," the judge was quoted as saying in local media Friday.
In Thursday's ruling, the court ordered the curry house to drop the "Mc" from their signage, but state news agency Bernama said the restaurant planned to appeal the ruling, arguing that "McCurry" was just an abbreviation for "Malaysian Chicken Curry."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

COULD YOU IMAGINE.... being soo jealous of someone just because it "appears" to you that they are tryin to 'copy' you in name.. that you HAD TO u run a FIVE YEAR court battle against them? hmm only MC DONALDS eh!.. Who would NOT want anyONE to make MORE money than them... True or false? TRUE!

I mean think about it!!.. ''McDonalds" "McCurry".. SOUND SAME? LOOk SAME?? umm comon! mann GET REAL!. How can someone mix these two together!!.. Not even the THIRD LETTER MATCHES!.. DUNNO which alphabet song they learnt! AND PLUS these malays have a valid point when they said " "McCurry" was just an abbreviation for "Malaysian Chicken Curry."

ALSO with respect to :"The defendant's use of the word McCurry and employing signage featuring colors distinctive of the plaintiff's was indulging in acts that could rise to confusion and deception",,, I can imagine how these malays tried to use colors which resembled 'curry' since their restuarant consisted of dishes related to curry..and I guess it turned out to be yellow!! OOooo what a COINCIDENCE!..

COWS N ACCENTS??! hmmm

IF cows have ACCENTS... WHATS NEXT???

-------------------------------------------------
Cows 'moo' with an accent, farmers believe

LONDON (Reuters) - Cows have regional accents, a group of British farmers claims, and phonetics experts say the idea is not as far-fetched as it sounds.
Lloyd Green, from southwest England, was one of a group of farmers who first noticed the phenomenon.
"I spend a lot of time with my Friesians and they definitely 'moo' with a Somerset drawl," he said, referring to the breed of dairy cow he owns.
"I've spoken to the other farmers in the West Country group and they have noticed a similar development in their own herds.
"I think it works the same as with dogs - the closer a farmer's bond is with his animals, the easier it is for them to pick up his accent."
Dom Lane, spokesman for a group called the West Country Farmhouse Cheesemakers to which Green belongs, said it contacted John Wells, Professor of Phonetics at University College London, who said that a similar phenomenon had been found in birds.
"You find distinct chirping accents in the same species around the country. This could also be true of cows," Wells said on the group's Web site (www.farmhousecheesemakers.com).
According to Lane, accents among cows probably develop in a similar way as among humans, and resulted from spending time with farmers with differing accents.
"Apparently the biggest influence on accents is peer groups - on children in the playground, for example," he said. "Herds are quite tight-knit communities and don't tend to leave the area."
He added that more scientific research was needed to prove what was just an anecdotal theory at this stage.

umm i think there must be something to do with these farmers and their ears..or maybe these cows have mood swings.. or maybe they just don't like what these farmers are feeding them.. maybe they're tryin to say they WANT HALAL FOOD MAN!

To fade or not to fade

One day ago at work, it wasn't that busy and I guess I had time to actually look at my customers lol.. (just kiddin').. There came this one girl.. as soon as I gazed my eyes upon her.. in a matter of a second, childhood memories came rushing to my mind.. not only memories but a NAME!

Ah what was I to do....ask her right away if she was so and so ..If I was wrong would she think that I have gone mad? ahhh what do I do...

Soo guess what I decided to do in a split second.. As she was 'trying' to say her order to me, even though I was totally ignoring her ... I TOTALLY INTERUPTED and asked her if she was so and so.. At her amazement and MINES, she nodded her head in the affirmative...Omg was I surprised...Not only did I remember her .. she ALSO REMEMBERED ME AFTER 13 YEARS! Could you imagine not seeing someone after 10-13 years? Well I couldn't imagine either...

From this story, I have come upon a theory..From my experiences I have come to the conclusion that childhood memories stay more fresh in your mind than your adulthood.. you may remember things related to your adulthood.. but even though your childhood is far past, someday it will draw upon you.

"No Boxed Gifts allowed".. say whaaa?

Ok.. I know those of you in the past have received invitations to parties. Now especially with wedding invitations sometimes at the bottom you may read "No boxed gifts please".. So recently I have been thinking about what do they really mean? hmmm...

Lets seee.... no "boxed" "gifts"... ok hmm how about a 'boxed' gift inside a GIFT BAG?!.. oh there we go .. I got it!... It's a matter of CONVENIENCE!!

AHHH.. Ok

Soo if I get a 'boxed' gift and then put it into a gift bag... the handles of the gift bag would make it easier on the folks to carry the gifts around? eh? Sounds reasonable right?

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Ok no worries.. I'll make sure my gift is a boxed in a gift bag for convenience

SILENT CRIES

Not until someone walks the walk, lives the life, cries the cry of a tortured individual, will any one of us living here ever know the feeling or experience of the world of this individual while being tortured by their enemy. In the recent story on Lebanon, as I watch what the media is trying to display for us to watch, the thought that runs through my mind is; why is it always AMERICA AND ISRAEL who are trying to be the big bully in the middle east. America tries to put their butt in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. AND THEN Israel butting in Palestine and now Lebanon, conveying to the WORLD THAT they're doing the right thing because they are 'fighting terrorism', when actually they are the ones who are being the 'TERRORIST'. I really don't understand what kind of DAMN ANT-TERRORISM WAR they're fighting! I don't know if they're too dumb and insane to understand that instead of them doing good, they are doing MASSIVE HARM... or is it THEM who thinks WE PEOPLE are stupid enough like them to think they're doing any GOOD. Blunt huh?

Why is it that when Israel attacks Lebanon that is not considered an act of terrorism, yet when Lebanon attacks Israel, they are the number one terrorists.. Funny how Israel and America (MR. Bush in this case) can never become terrorists no matter what ever they do, whether it's killing their OWN citizens or not.

Recently I have watched closely and I personally have clearly seen how CRUEL ISREAL HAVE ACTED TOWARD MILLIONS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE. Therefore, I promised myself that I will FULLY promote the BOYCOTTING of certain companies which COMPLETELY SUPPORT OUR main enemies..... INSHAA'ALLAH!

There is one certain company which I have tried by best to stay away from which is Mc Donalds and their ice-cream... This company is DE NUMBER ONE SUPPORTER OF ISREAL.<<
MY PROOF>> Every time, I come across this company, I remind myself of the millions and millions of innocent people who have been murdered all because of this one enemy.

I know a lot of you will say how is that possible, when we are totally surrounded by these companies.. Well personally, I would try my best in staying away from these companies. Instead of helping out the wrong individuals, why not just use that money which may have been used to help Israel's troops and jus donate it directly to helping these innocent victims in Lebanon or any other country, where disaster strikes.
Namf - one good reliable MUSLIM organization collects donations for all kinds of countries stricken with disasters. May Allah protect our fellow muslims in the middle east and everywhere, and may HE save them from our enemy.. ameeen

PINK STRIKES AGAIN! ahhh help me

Ok.. my 'men wearin pink' bashing was alllllllmost over until a CERTAIN INDIVIDUAL (*ahem* stares at Faiza) had to show me a picture of a certain someone (SAMI YUSUF) who is muslim by the way... wakes up one bright morning and decides to wear a PINK DRESS SHIRT ... to make the picture even worse.. he wears a BRIGHT PINK TIE.. "Oh my Allah" - this ' men wearin pink syndrome' (MWPS) has become soo contagious that it's startin' to affect muslims now. May Allah save the muslims from this horrible 'breakout'.. ameen

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a fan of Sami Yusuf's nasheeds... - end comment-

DANGER ZONE # 1

Sometimes when I read and listen to the media, I feel as if the media is tryin' to portray a total NEGATIVE view of Islam and MUSLIMS in general.. Daily, I visit citynews, to see what's going on in the news. Today the first thing that comes up in the front page of Citynews is this video which has images of the trade centre and Osama Bin Laden and etc...In my view, there was ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO HAVE THIS video posted there. it will just clearly bring anger into the public... Sometimes I think the media is like a retail store or restaurant, but instead of gaining sales, they want to GAIN VIEWERS.. soo they think that if they post things which the PUBLIC WANTS TO SEE AND HEAR (EVEN THOUGH IT MAY BE 100% FULL OF LIES) they will do so without hesitation!!!

Another hot topic that's in the news right now is the issue with SHAYKH Riyadh ul-Haq. I know for sure the MEDIA is portraying 100% lies about him which are NOT true... I think one of the top jobs of the media is to attach guiltiness to a person without being PROVEN GUILTY!! You will see soooner or later those SHAYUKH who DO not SUCK up to the kuffar and media itself, will be targeted as a 'potential' terrorist, even though all they are preaching is ISLAM (WHICH contains no terrorism whatsoever!!). That is the absolute truth.

To make the picture even more dirty, we have a problem in our MUSLIM COMMUNITY.. one name says it all
'TAREK FATEH" This guy should be tagged red AND SHOULD BE BANNED FROM SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF THE MUSLIMS. This guy KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE REAL ISLAM WHATSOEVER. I have no idea why he always pushes himself to the face of the media, to speak ON BEHALF OF THE ENTIRE Muslim Community. Allahu Alam (Allah knows best), but sometimes I feel as if this man speaks without knowledge. If you take a look at this news article which was aired on television yesterday (globalnational.com). Those of you who know SHAYKH Riyadh ul-Haq, will know what TAREK FATEH says is FULL OF IGNORANCE!!! May Allah guide him and us all Ameen

AUTHORITY.. STRIKE ONE!

Yup! Who wouldn't guess.. how UNFAIR THESE B*TT HEADS would be treating the 15-17 accused muslims brothers... UNFAIRLY OBVIOUSLY!.. topped up with CLEAR TORTURE

You see, anything that these guards do behind the bars to these accused muslims, will for sure be drained out to the public, INSHAA'ALLAH and it's starting to flood out immensely. Everyone should watch this press conference that was done Monday morning before it gets taken out.. The sound isn't that clear.. but it's understandable .. PRESS CONFERENCE

... I think these b*tt heads who are suppose to basically just and ONLY guard the jails.. I dont think they were paid to torture the inhabitants of the cells.. or were they?? hmmmmm..

If Canada has a JUST AND FAIR COURT SYSTEM, then I think the COURT SYSTEM of Canada should prove it to us CLEARLY.. cuz up until now, based on what I have seen with this case.. I clearly do NOT think Canada has a JUST SYSTEM RUNNING on it's land...so 'law makers'..get busy!

MEDIA FULL OF LIES - EDITED VERSION

This is going to be one of my posts which is going to be full of scattered thoughts .. soo beware

I have no idea why the media has to be THE number one thing to brainwash people into thinkin the total wrong way or rather to be the NUMBER ONE THING TO GIVE FULL LIES TO IT'S VIEWERS!...

Take the most recent story ever...the 15-17 accused.. o wait it gets better yet.. THEY ALL HAPPEN TO BE MUSLIMS!.First, each of their house gets raided, they all get treated so badly like REAL MURDERERS.. when they didn't even commit anything as yet, the security gets soo BEEFED up at the court house as if these kids are some kind of HUGE THREAT TO THE WORLD.. HOW MANY times have you seen real murderers who actually commited mass murders.. and there isn't this much of BEEFED UP SECURITY.. REAL evidence for ALL OF the accused MUSLIMS' convictions.. don't exist.. OTHER THAN FROM 'words'.

One fishy detail that is totally intriguing is the fact that these youngsters.. are not allowed to have any COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER.. with their family members.. or BETTER YET.. their lawyers??!!.. IF THIS IS THE CASE.. I really dont understand HOW CAN CANADA BE OF ONE OF THOSE COUNTRIES WITH THE BEST 'JUSTICE' system to EVER EXIST??.. I would FULLY CALL THIS SYSTEM CRAP!
Don't you think that there must be some TRUTH the COURT AND POLICE THEMSELVES ARE TRYIN TO HIDE.. all because of the fact that the 15-17 accused MUSLIMS are not even allowed to have communication with ANYONE..

How can a 'FAIR TRIAL' be done.. if these accused are NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR OWN LAWYERS??! WHAT kind of damn 'fair trial' is that??

The STORY of the what the accused has been 'ACCUSED' WITH was probably all made up by .. ALLAH KNOWS WHO!... police? some crappy person?.. who wanted to make this story WORLD WIDE (which it is).. WHO WANTED TO SHOW AND I QUOTE MIGINTY (however u spell his name!) "these arrests show how well our police services are working" UMM YEAH! if they were working SOO 'WELL' WHY THE HECK ARE THERE STILL soo many guns out there? and soo many murders STILL happenin on our streets every freakin DAY???

ALSO WHY is that.. when the news story of the 15-17 accused 'VICTIMS" are told.. the very first picture these media reportors show .. are pictures of our sisters in NIQAAB.. what message are these reportors tryin to show HUH? that we FULLY DRESSED MUSLIM WOMEN.. ARE ALSO TERRORISTS??!
How can.. people who are JUS following their religion.. by obeyin the commands of God.. by dressin in the appropriate manner.. are addressed as terrorists?? Why arent.. those in turbans.. or those hats that jews wear.. or even those clothing that nuns wear called TERRORISTS??!! huuh.. explain me that!

Here is jus a taste of the pictures am talkin about..

First up :
NEWYORK TIMES

AND THERE ARE MANY MORE.. but the point was WELL MADE!

May Allah save 'us' and all those who are INNOCENTLY CONVICTED from this corrupted system! ameen

"The tradition of pink shall prevail"

Yesterday at work, I encountered yet another customer who happen to be a guy, who decided to wear pink. This time it was not any ordinary pink.. it was SHOCKIN' PINK!.. Deep thoughts ran through my mind. ... what has this world come to?.. This world has began to lose the REAL tradition of pink, where pink was made for just and ONLY WOMEN! How dare men wear PINK...and even worse SHOCKIN' PINK!!

DE "no NO" list

The following is a "no no" list when it comes to WEARING the hijjab.. sorry if am offending anyone.. but it's the absolute and SOLID truth lol

1) Wearing the Hijjab with SHORT SLEEVES or a T-shirt (now thats a 'no no'.. cuz the point of wearing hijjab is to cover yourself.. and you cannot have your arms showing.. -nope sorry

2) Hijjab with TIGHT pants.. - nope, try again.. nice try though.

3) Hijjab worn with MORE than half of your hair showing from the front. I know that is typically a 'cough cough' desi style..- but sorry that aint hijjab!

4) Hijjab worn - 'de modern way' with your 'bling bling' sticking out of your hijjab along with your ears. Yup I know your tryin' to show that Muslim women do wear earrings.. but please NOT with the hijjab on! The point of hijjab is therefore lost entirely.

5) Last but not least, how can we forget, dee soo-called 'butterfly hijjab', where typically the ears and neck are uncovered- am sorry this is totally not HIJJAB. It may be known to be a "fashion trend" in the modern world, but that 'aint from Islam. The point of Hijjab is therefore LOST FULLY!

and yeah am done my 'yadda yadda' for today! Bashings are most welcome...in 'de' comment section only..

Leave things just the way THEY ARE!

I really don't understand why sometimes, some people just canNOT leave things the way they're made to be! Or rather why do people make little things big issues! Is it because they have lack of attention! Media attraction? hmmm I WONDER!

Few weeks back I saw this documentary made by this muslim woman. In this documentary basically she was tryin to fight for no barriers in mosques or masjids for women.

I thought parts of this documentary was a waste of time!

BASICALLY her main issue was that since there were no barriers at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), we should not have one today! Little does she know that there were reasons why they did not have it at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). You see this is the problem with today's society ... we jus take things to the extreme of the literal meaning and do not look upon anything out side of that thinking box! Here is a fatwah that was written by a prominent scholar named Shaykh al-‘Uthaymeen. I will just quote some parts of the fatwah:

"The partition should stay. The fact that there was no partition at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was either because there was no need for it or because there was a reason why they could not have a partition. With regard to the former, the Sahaabah, may Allaah be pleased with them, had such strong faith in Allaah that they would not look at women; with regard to the latter, the financial situation of the Sahaabah, as we know, especially before the conquests, was one of hardship, and they could not afford to put a partition between themselves and the women. Having understood this, we should next look at which is further removed from fitnah, having a partition or not having it? Everyone will agree that having the partition is less likely to cause fitnah. If that is the case, then whatever is less likely to cause fitnah is what should be done. If you say, “If we insist on keeping it, those who want to remove it will stay away from the mosque,” our response is that if they stay away, they are doing wrong. They have no excuse for failing to pray in jamaa’ah because of this partition being there. Having the partition there is not a sin such that they could say, “We are not coming to be witnesses to sin.” If they stay away, they are committing sin by failing to attend prayers in congregation."

Also durin the documentary she interviewed people who were against and for the barriers in masjids. Knowing that she was on the "con" side of this issue, I noticed that when it came to interviewing people who were FOR the barrier, SHE CUT THEM OFF. She didn't make these people explain themselves fully. One example was this: There was this brother/imam who was speaking about the command of Allah that is in the quraan where Allah ordered the women to say at home… right after he mentioned the part where women should stay at home..she CUT HIM OFF or rather editted that part out where he explained himself clearly as to what he was tryin to convey. The verse where it says "And stay in your houses” [al-Ahzaab 33:33], scholars have mentioned a saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which complements this verse from the Quraan which states: "Their houses are better for them.”

You see this is the key to any debate... if you are going to let the pro and con side speak on an issue.. YOU OUGHT TO LET THEM HAVE EQUAL CHANCES OF SPEAKING.... if not, then what is the point of havin a debate on an issue!.. SHE MIGHT AS well jus interview and document ONLY people who were against the barrier... WHY WASTE TIME!

Apart from the above, she interviewed people who did a good job at exageration. There were a couple of women interviwed who conplained that men in the masjids did NOT make them feel welcome and they did not greet them etc. When I first heard this I thought to myself what the heck?.. YA WANT THESE MEN TO COME UP TO YOU AND BE LIKE "OHHH SISTAA... WELCOME WELCOME... HOW ARE U TODAY? YA WANT ME TO MAKE YA SOME TEA? OH NO.. what would u like??" I mean, you are comin to pray and your main aim is to please and worship Allah... and maybe socialize with the sisters in order to create a greater bond in sisterhood within your community..There is no need for your presence to be known by all the men. If so, this would contradict the sayin of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) with respect to socializing with men!

Another issue these women debated over was the fact that there was this masjid which had a place for women to pray in a balcony setting which was located above the men... and some of these women thought it was an act of oppression! I was like what?? They think this is oppression? Just because they are isloated and cannot see the men, it does not mean that prayin in a HIGHER position in the mosque is an act of oppression! I have no idea which thinking BOX THEY were thinking from!

RAGE ON THE BUS!~

Ok this is how it goes...

Yesterday in the afternoon, I got onto a bus on my way to my last exam of the year.. Entered the bus surrounded by 'pin drop silence' Feelin' all fresh from my last night's 7 hour straight! Sleeep! - Alhamdulilah.. sweeeeet! ( yeah fyi..i think 'alhamdulilah' comes b4 'sweeeeeeeeet'). Then all of a sudden, the bus stops...n all you can hear is this HEAVVY metal sound of a child not more 3-4 years of age..cryin' non- stop. This women enters the bus, walks straight into the bus.. sits down with the non-stop cryin child and guess what? DOES NOTHING ABOUT THE NON-STOP CRYIN' CHILD! All she does is jus sit there with the child sittin on top or rather layin on her, cryin n yellin to the top of her lungs.

As seconds went by... my mind kept swayin back n forth almost drownin in unsecured thoughts ... Is this mother tryin to teach this toddler a lesson? What lesson exactly is she tryin to convey to this innocent child...how long more does this child have to cry n cry n loose all that precious tears...

Approximately 15 mins after.. this child kept on screaming to the top of her lungs, drownin herself in tears. This child sounded as if she was going to be torn apart by dehydration. Nevertheless, this mother kept her gaze straight to the window and jus sat there still as a statue. Other riders on the bus, kept gazin at her and the child.. everyone all havin identical thoughts... when will this mother ever COMFORT THIS CHILD .. jus like every child needs.

Meanwhile..my fresh n 'at ease' mind slightly felt a headache comin along...I kept thinkin to myself.. when will someone ever tell this lady to tend her child.. Then finally a very 'wise' gentlemen... and I quote him "Why dont u ****'ing take this child to that hospital" (the bus was about to pass by a hospital).. n he was right.. well.... not the swearin part 'right'.. but the other. I kept thinkin' that.. the more longer this lady let this child scream n cry to the top of her tiny lungs.. before you know it.. the tears that this child lost would result to the overall dehydration of this child!

Up until this mother got off the bus.. this child kept on crying and cryin'...... and screamin', drowning her innocent emotions in tears... The sound of this troubled child echoed like thunder into the hearts of every individual present in that bus that day.

I've heard many people say... dont always give your child what they want (because then they will become very naughty).. let them cry it out.. But then, as I pondered this thought to myself.. Some children at the age of 5 and below.. if you let them cry... THEY WILL CRY.. until you at least comfort them and show some love to them.
The reason? Well children at this age.. don't really have the sense and mind to know when they should stop cryin' They're too innocent to realize that if they continue to cry non-stop, they will eventually harm themselves by dehydration. Even if these toddlers feel the pain of dehydration, they will continue to cry until they receive comfort from no other than their mother. I think children above 5 years old, do come to realize that if they cry their precious tears out continuously, their body will start to ache, therefore eventually they will stop within a short period of time compared to toddlers......

..and in a nut shell that was my theory in detail!

Guys wearing PINK?

Today at work, I saw this desi guy come up to the cashier desk and guess what he was wearing? A BRIGHT PINK SWEATER, with a stripped pink dress shirt inside! OMG! what a scene!! I just couldn't stop lookin at him and wondering how disgustin that looked. I just couldn't stop thinking whether this is a guy or a she-guy?? It was just a horrible scene to look at, cuz when I looked at him, it reminded me of a girl, but an ugly version of a girl. (No offence people, but that is my opinion of what was apparent).

I just cannot comprehend on any level, why would a GUY want to wear BRIGHT PINK, When this guy woke up in the morning, I wonder what thoughts went through his mind..."Oh, today, amma' show them women that MEN can also wear pink!!! MEN can do ANYTHINGGGGGG which women doo.. - ha' amma SHOW THEM WOMEN what we MEN are made up of!!"

ummm yeeeaah

Now this is the way I look at this issue.
In general, pink is perceived by people as a feminine color! I know a lot of people will turn and say: well there isnt no proof that pink is a feminine color. Well, I wonder what would these people think and say if a guy woke up one morning and decided to wear clothing that is totally flowered or maybe a SkIRT full of flowers!!

Islamically, men are not suppose to imitate women and women are not suppose to imitate men. Because as stated in a hadeeth, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed the men who imitate women and the women who imitate men. [Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5546].
Therefore, there should not be any excuse for men to wear pink because PINK IS known throughout society as a feminine color. Pink is a soft color; it resembles flowers and flowers are always associated with women, therefore pink has to be a feminne color, END OF STORY!

Speech, detrimental to society?

Recently, I've spoken to some of my friends and also I have watched some doumentaries, where sadly, some muslims around the world, especially in America are being targetted greatly. Not because of their actions, but rather in most cases because of their speech! Mentioning the fact that people are being arrested, interrogated, detained, because of their speech.. in AMERICA, - kinda sounds like an oxymoron statement; don't ya think? What ever happened to "Free speech in America", or the "Right to free speech?" Maybe all these statements kinda disappears under "certain" circumstances eh?
Isn't it true that when one is jailed, detained, or interrogated, it's allll because of that certain person being a threat to "society"?? Then tell me, how can speech, which apparently leaks out of a being's mouth, cause "physical threat" to another, where there are no OTHER means of solving this 'threat' but to serve time in the slammer?? Where's the connection?

Being in the mood that I am at present, I might as well move one of my posts which is from my msn space to here....
----------------------------------------
SPEECH STRONGER OR ACTION?
YOU CHOOSE....

Well actually there is no need for you to choose because a group of people part of this "so called 'free land' " have already chosen for us. Apparently, they believe that speech has a greater intensity than action! How so?

To tell you the truth... I have no IDEA how they could come up with such a conclusion.

What causes more harm? Speech or action?

Yeah... That's what I thought... ACTION!

Up until this day, I cannot comprehend on any kind of level where speech causes more harm than action...Sadly, innocent individuals... mostly our beloved Shayukh are being wrongly accused and convicted with crimes they have never commited and therefore being locked up in jails.

QUESTION: Why are some countries becoming more and more corrupt with a higher crime rate? Well, I'll tell you... It's all because they are locking up the wrong individuals and setting free the TRUE criminals. People who have commited extreme crimes such as murder and etc. are being released to freedom after a very short jail time, which is why most likely the crime rates are being increased everyday due to the fact that the laws aren't being applied properly!

Everyday it's the same talk..... "we will implement tougher laws... crime rates will decrease... we need solutions!"

A solution? Well I'll tell you... accusing and locking up the wrong individuals will never make any country suceed in decreasing the crime rates....Oh and to make the picture even worse... locking up people for their SPEECH? Since when did "speech" come under a dangerous crime???

See this is why we should never never fall in love with this duniya.. especially if your living in a country that is NOTHING close to being a "Darul Islam"! Because some of these kaffirs who are in postions of authority will just turn their backs on you and contradict their own sayings of when they say they will "... not discriminate!"

Please!

We have some of our MOST knowledgable Shayukh and Muslims being locked up for no valid reason...

One amazing shaykh with an incredible character.... named Dr Ali Al-Timimi... who along with profound islamic knowledge, had achieved an outstanding amount of academic knowledge, which in turn with Allah's help was able to attain his doctoral degree along with accomplishing tremendous amount of research on cancer which in turn will help scientists in their research..... GOT CONVICTED AND IS SENTENCED TO LIFE IN PRISON PLUS WITHOUT PAROLE PLUS 70 YEARS!....

OK HOLD UP!... LIFE IN PRISON?? Now here is a good example of how insane some of these "Darul Kufr" places operates.... Ok now if someone is convicted to LIFE IN PRISON... don't you think that this person must have commited a serious crime like murder? WELL GUESS WHAT? I can give you a zillion examples where criminals have commited murder.. where they actually killed another individual and yet the courts let them out free where we can see them walk freely on this EARTH....?

Well indeed!... The words of the Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wa Salaam) are indeed the Haqq (truth):

Narrated Abu Hurayrah, the Messenger of Allah (Sallahu Alayhi Wa Salaam) is reported to have said: The world is a prison-house for a believer (Muslim) and paradise for a non-believer (non-muslim) (Saheeh Muslim, hadeeth 7058)

Since this world will be like a "prison-house" for us believers, then we ought to be tried with trials and tribulations... for Allah has said in the Quran: Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, "When (will come) the Help of Allâh?" Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allâh is near!.” (2:214)

Allah also says, “Do you think that you will enter paradise without going through the trial? Allah has not yet tested you to see who among you strive hard for His cause and who show patience in adversity” (3:142).

Now, what ever happens to us muslims in this duniya, whether good or bad we must keep in mind that it is all decreed by Allah and it is our job to submit to this Divine decree "Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is our Maula (Lord, Helper and Protector)." And in Allah let the believers put their trust. (9:51)

This decree of Allah, was written 50, 000 years BEFORE Allah has created the heavens and earths, as the Prophet (Sallahu Alayhi Wa Salaam) said: "Allah had written the ordained measures (and due proportions) of the creation, fifty thousand years before the creation of the heavens and the earth and His ‘Arsh was on the water" [Muslim]

Therefore, it will be our task to remain patient and steadfast in constantly making du'aa to Allah to relieve us of our hardships in this duniya.

Influence or no influence

Hmm i havent blogged in a while...

Since at the moment, i have no ideas of my own on what to write. I might as well do a parallel blog post which is related to one of Sabeen's post.. And NOPE it aint stealin' nor copyin'.. it's complementin! And wasnt sabeen, my influence in the first place, to start writing in my blog which apparently i owned since 'ahem' OCTOBER 2005.. not 2006 .. but 2005!..

Anyway..

I currently work as a cashier/order-taker at this certain fast food restuarant..near my house..

Below are a few things or personalities that comes from customers, which i apparently hate!

1) "Lets come to the counter, then we'll decide what to order". Although we have a huge billboard which contains everything from price to combos etc. which is suppose to be SELF-READ. You would never miss this type of customer, who apparently feels it's a necessity for them to read the menu WITH YOU. (story-time?). Even though there is a huge line of 10 ppl or so waiting to make their order, you still have this type of customer who usually takes their sweet time in deciding what to order, without sympathizing for the customers behind them. My message to them... : Take a seat, ask for some free water (yup POPEYES do provide those! :O), relax, , read the menu at your own pace, ponder, make some phone calls.. then come to the counter to order!

2) "No worries, these people are paid to clean up after us". Then you have this type of customer, who apparently think that it's ok to leave their massive garbage-leftovers on the table. Although we have three HUGE garbage bins, color coded in BRIGHT visible colors, few metres away from the dining area, and not to mention less than a metre away from the exit, these customers are still massively lazy to dump their garbage into these bins.

I also work at this dollarstore. Now here is what I totally hate:

1) You have about 10-15 people waiting in a line. One customer comes up with like 30 pennies and a whole heap of change to make like 30 dollars. allll for I, the cashier to count. (yup good time to learn how to count!). I have no idea what's going through this customer's mind. I am sure the 10-15 customers behind him is 100% visible and maybe he thought that dollar stores also played the role of a bank. I have no idea if these people dont realize that COIN ROLLERS do exist and are really really really cheap to purchase.

2) Then you have those customers, who are able to read visible signs such as: "No exchange or refund, CASH ONLY!" Yet they still come up to the cashier and ask: "do you take debit cards?". No lady we dont. "how about credit cards?" NO LADY WE DONT! READ THE SIGN! "How about those other cashiers, do they take cards?" -no comment-
Then you have to repeat to them the EXACT same words that are written on the sign: "Cash only". It's like a whole 10 mins wasted in explaining the clearly written sign!

3) Then you have customers who would come up to the counter with for example 225ml GLASS cups and yet pretend they think those glasses are suppose to be 2 for $1.00. (NO JOKE, I've hand soo many of these customers). Then when you tell them: "No, these GLASSES are 1 for a $1.00", then they would say "ohhh noooo noo nooo its ok, we will leave them". They're acting as if $1.00 for those 225ML GLASSES ARE SOO DAMN EXPENSIVE...I wonder where the heck will they find a store that will sell those glasses 2 for a $1.00!! Please do let me know, my mum would be delighted to save a whole heap of money!

4) Nevertheless, then we come to the type of customers that PILE their huge carts up with all kinds of items from the store... then when they come to the cashier, they then decide on what items they want. In the end, they leave half of the stuff that was in their cart to begin with and noooo!! do they find the heart to go back n put those items back!.. So if they didnt want it in the first place.. why the heck did they put it in their cart and bring them allllllll the way to the cashier!!... (btw at the end of the day it's the employees (cashiers) who have to put all of the stuff that careless customers leave around, back to it's place. Which sometimes takes forever, all because of SLOPPY CUSTOMERS!)

De Story behind my name

-: Tahira Bint Abdur-Rahman Ibn Peer Al-Guyaniyah:-

Ok here goes...
See my grandfather's first name was PEER and his last name was Khan. Although he had an indian sound-alike name, he was apparently 100% pure guyanese. Nevertheless, some famous smart gentleman, [am assuming it was my grandfather (Rahimullah) ] decided to give my father a last name, which is a combination of his first and last name, which is now known as my LAST NAME...

Catched that on?

Conclusion: I could apparently have some desi-ness in me...which will have to figure out in fractions later on as the life of this blog progresses, inshaa'Allah

... well that is the story of my name, in short.
